Essence Of India Gathers User Information In The Following Processes:
Default Information
The server where this web site hosted collects some default information provided by your web browser. Such as date, time, originating IP address, pages you visited and images requested by the browser.
"Tell a friend" policy
Our site users can choose to electronically forward product information to someone else by clicking "Tell a Friend" envelop icon. The user must provide their email address, as well as that of the recipient. This information is used only in the case of transmission errors and, of course, to let the recipient know who sent the email. The information is not used for any other purpose.
Cookies
We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain Personal Information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. We do not maintain separate newsletter mailing list. At the time of creating a new account if user selects the newsletter check box, we email that user our newsletter. Essence Of India never shares newsletter mailing lists with any third parties, including advertisers, sponsors or partners.

Essence Of India operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Any information enter by user on our site is being encrypted before sending over the network. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.
SECURITY OF YOUR PAYMENTS
Essence of India uses the well established Pay Pal shopping cart system to process your order. We do have or hold any access to any information related to your credit cards or Pay Pal accounts. Pay Pal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to the Pay Pal server using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Once your information reaches Pay Pal, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. The servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers
